BBN comes to Chicago

How do you effectively integrate brand asset management, creative
and technology-enabled channel strategy… and play it out on a
global scale?
That was just one item on the agenda when Bader Rutter played host to the
Executive Board of the Business Branding Network
(BBN), which held its first ever Chicago meeting last week.
Representing a network of more than 20 agencies worldwide, the BBN
Executive Board meets three times annually to refine shared work
platforms and coordinate international activities. The current
board includes representatives from the UK, Germany,
the Middle
East, Finland and
the US.
Taking advantage of the scenic Bader Rutter conference rooms
at 150 North Michigan Avenue for much of their three-day stay,
board members addressed the following, among other things:
• strategic models and processes
• international business development
• new membership criteria
• new research and task team plans
The group also conducted executive sessions with Bader Rutter
senior management and leaders of the Business
Marketing Association.
Before closing business with an evening at the Kingston Mines blues club,
the board finalized plans for its annual BBN Academy being held
next month in Madrid, Spain, where all member agencies send their
best and brightest for three days of workshops devoted to sharing
new ideas and best practices.
