Netherlands based Intervet researches and develops veterinary products globally including, vaccines, anti-infectives, anti-parasitics, feed additives and pharmaceuticals.
For Bovilis, a treatment for bovine respiratory disease, Intervet wanted to both increase sales and expand the overall European market.
Veterinarians and farmers as well as the agricultural scientific community and the specialist media were key to achieving this objective.
Approach
By using innovative graphics and a logo tagline to quickly instil the benefits of Bovillis, a distinctive positioning was achieved for the brand.
Results
In the Netherlands sales increased by 20% in the first year. Across Europe there was a 100% buy-in to the campaign and an overall increase in sales of 13.5%. The campaign investment, of €50k, was quickly returned and the customer was awarded the Top Com Gold award for this work.
