John Deere
John Deere has a long heritage in the agricultural market for its high quality, reliable products. The company wanted to use its brand to boost sales of garden machinery, notably lawn mowers.
Approach
Market testing confirmed that garden owners perceived John Deere as a quality supplier. Creative work was undertaken to link strongly to the unique heritage the brand offered.
Results
‘Working the land since 1837’ proved to be a highly successful position for the business and this was translated into all marketing collateral including advertisements, direct mail and web.
Working with John Deere’s own in-house team this material was adapted for eight European markets.
