Technip
Technip is a world leader in project management, engineering and construction for the energy industry. It employs 23,000 people and with an annual turnover of €6.1 billion.
Growth of the organisation, both organically and through acquisition, produced various challenges in ensuring consistency of the brand which in turn led to a reduction of brand recognition and resonance in the marketplace.
Approach
When Technip approached Fifth Ring, they had a myriad of logos
and identities worldwide. In order to solve this problem
Fifth Ring started with an international research project,
identifying stakeholder perceptions of Technip. We also held
a number of workshops with Technip staff to develop consistent
international messaging, and develop a united culture. We
worked closely with their Group Communications team to develop an
internal and external launch campaign for their new brand.
Results
The results were outstanding. Technip are now accurately
positioned as the company that 'take it further'. With a new
set of inspiring values uniting their workforce and consistent
international messaging being delivered to all their
stakeholders. The Technip brand has been revitalised and
their business now speaks as one.
