Hidden Champions: wob clients ebm-papst and KWS SAAT among most valuable brands
Not only one, but two clients of BBN Germany belong to the most valuable brands among the country's mid-sized world market leaders.
That is the result of a study conducted on behalf of the
German business magazine WirtschaftsWoche. At Rank 1, where brand
performance is concerned and only second in total, is
ebm-papst, whom wob have been supporting in their brand
management since 2003. Rank 19 goes to the seed specialist KWS
SAAT. wob has been helping build the company's brand
profiling since 2006.
"ebm-papst and KWS are two companies which have taken the topic
'brand' very seriously right from the start and have pushed it
continuously ever since. The fact that their commitment is now
awarded by an independent study like this is a great success. We
congratulate both of them, and we are proud to be allowed to
accompany these companies in their brand management till this day,"
says wob executive board member Kurt Klein.
The study "The Brand of the German Hidden Champions 2011"
analysed the significance of the brand at German world market
leaders in industrial goods and its impact on the companies'
success. The consultancy Biesalski & Company interviewed 125
experts from industry associations, institutes, specialised press
and decision makers of firms. The participant's annual reports were
also evaluated.
